Google demands quality sites, or else…

This is an email I just received and it confirms my strongest belief that quality sites, particularly with unique, non-duplicate content is paramount with your success.

Here’s the letter;

Dear AdWords Advertiser,

We are writing to inform you of a change to Google AdWords policy that may affect your Google AdWords account.

In the coming weeks, we will no longer accept AdWords ads that promote software, services or programs that offer pregenerated or template sites focused on profiting from AdSense and other ad networks.

When we make this change, Google will disapprove all ads identified as being in violation of our new content policy. You have received this email because our system identified your account as potentially affected by this policy change.

We have thought very hard about our stance on this type of products and services as well as the potential effect that our policy decision could have on AdWords advertisers. However, as a business, Google must make decisions regarding the advertising that we accept. We apologise for the inconvenience this policy change may cause you.

Sincerely,

The Google AdWords Team

So, what do you think? If they are going to cancel your adwords ads, what do you think will happen to your sites rankings if you don’t abide?

In fact, of all my sites, I have had a dismal failure with this information site. It was my 1st site, and no matter what I do (although I have not been spending much time on it) the site continually gets canned by Google… all my one-way back links disappear and I can’t seem to get it indexed, or if it gets indexed, it gets delisted straight away.

Let this be a warning to everyone. Make your site quality and make it unique.
